The River Ride / 9.45am start

Approx 1-1.5 hours. Perfect for first timers, rusty riders or if you haven’t been on the bike for a long time

The River Ride is a circular route around the River Torrens following the Linear Park. This ride is suitable for all levels of ability. Great for those who haven’t done much riding and would like to take advantage of a mainly traffic free environment – you will have to watch out for pedestrians on the shared-use Linear Path however. It’s also a great option for those with young children.

After stopping for free refreshments at the  Harts Mill precinct, we head west to the coast near Semaphore and then follow the beach south via Grange and Henley Beach to the mouth of the River Torrens at Henley Beach South. Riders then head east along the Linear Path, which follows the meandering path of the River Torrens, all the way back to the finish.
