La Grande Gita is a chance to explore the gravel backroads of the Barossa Valley in a family-friendly environment – from quiet backroad and flat rail trail riding to some of the most challenging gravel and bitumen riding in the Barossa. Annual Tour is Bicycle SA’s flagship event – a yearly nine-day adventure through the best that SA has to offer. Regional exploration destinations include Kangaroo Island, Eyre Peninsula, the Riverland, and more.
In 2024, the tour takes on beautiful Kangaroo Island, starting with a ferry ride from Cape Jervis while taking in the sights and tastes of Penneshaw, American River, Flinders Chase National Park, Vivonne Bay and Kingscote.
