Choose your ride

River Ride: 10km

A leisurely lap around the River Torrens, perfect for beginners, those getting back into cycling, and families.

The River Ride is a great way to dip your toes into cycling or those looking for a gentle leisurely ride. You'll take on only small undulating gradients and be finished between one and one and a half hours.

You'll ride mostly on shared paths with only one section of quiet on-road riding. But don't worry, riding in a group on the road is much safer than riding alone. Our experienced ride marshals will direct you every step of the ride and help out if you get stuck.

Beach Ride: 40km

Step it up with a 40km ride down to Port Adelaide, along the coastline to Henley Beach and  back via the River Torrens Linear Park. This ride is great for those building confidence and interested in trying a longer ride using bicycle lanes in a supported environment.

The ride will take two to three hours and you'll ride on a mixture of cycling paths and on-road bicycle lanes. Two rest stops are provided for you to catch your breath and refuel along the way. Our experienced ride marshals will direct you every step of the ride and help out if you get stuck.

Harbour Ride: 55km

Push yourself with a 55km ride down to Port Adelaide, looping at Outer Harbor and then following the coastline to Henley Beach before returning via the River Torrens Linear Park. This ride is great for those who are relatively confident and are wanting to extend their limits.

This ride will take two and a half to three and a half hours and you'll ride on a mixture of cycling paths and on-road bicycle lanes. Two rest stops are provided for you to catch your breath and refuel along the way. Our experienced ride marshals will direct you every step of the ride and help out if you get stuck.

Testimonials

I loved the flat course and being on dedicated bike/walking paths. Being able to relax at Bonython Park at the end with food and entertainment was great!

– 2023 Participant

The overall feel of the whole event was amazing. So relaxed and felt so supported. Me and my friend were so nervous about the distance but once we finished, we were excited to do the harbor ride next year. I was also nervous we would get lost but there were enough red arrows to guide us properly.

– 2023 Participant

Great to be riding around in a completely different location, friendly girls around me, caring marshalls and felt totally supported. Kudos to all involved.
