
Ride for Her is a family-friendly cycling event that celebrates community, purpose and the joy of riding together. With routes designed for all levels, there’s something for everyone, no matter if you are a first-time rider or an experienced cyclist. You can also choose to support ovarian cancer research through Tour de Cure and the Flinders Foundation, with optional fundraising available for those who’d like to make their ride go even further. Join us for a memorable day on the bike, complete with a vibrant event village, food, entertainment and plenty of good energy.

This is your chance to enjoy Adelaide’s most scenic cycling corridors at your own pace, with fully supported routes ranging from riverside cruising to coastal loops and hill climbs. Whether you’re here for a relaxed roll or a rewarding challenge, every ride offers a smooth, well-marked and uplifting day on the bike.

By choosing to fundraise, you’ll be supporting Tour de Cure and helping drive vital ovarian cancer research through the Flinders Foundation. Bring the whole family for a relaxed and joyful ride along the beautiful River Torrens! This short-distance option is perfect for the little ones and first-time riders, with a safe, scenic route and plenty of space to cruise at your own pace. Ride 2km, 5km, or go the full 10km!

This scenic ride offers a flexible distance between 15km and 30km, allowing you to choose your pace and turnaround point. Along the way, enjoy a refreshment stop to recharge and take in the natural beauty of Adelaide’s iconic river corridor.

The Beach Ride follows the Outer Harbour Greenway from Bowden to Port Adelaide before joining the coast near Semaphore, then travels south through Grange and Henley Beach to the River Torrens with refreshment stops along the way. Riders return via the Linear Path, making it a wonderful relaxed loop suitable for all with moderate fitness.

The Harbour Ride is perfect for those looking for an endurance test! The route follows the same Outer Harbour Greenway corridor from the city as the Beach Ride. After a quick refreshment stop at Port Adelaide, the ride continues through Birkenhead to Outer Harbour and back. Riders rejoin the Beach Ride group at Semaphore to continue through Grange and Henley Beach, and return to the finish along the River Torrens Linear Path.

Registrations open at 07.45am and all riders MUST be registered before the Rider Briefings which will commence at 8:30am for Hills Ride; 8:45am for Harbour Ride ; 9:00am for Beach Ride; 9:15am for River Rides.
Absolutely not! Any comfortable, weather-appropriate exercise clothing is fine. We recommend checking the forecast and dressing in layers so you can adjust as needed during the ride.
Absolutely! Children under 16 can ride for free, but they must still be registered. All riders under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult throughout the ride.
Yes! All legal e-bikes are absolutely welcome to join the ride. Please note that charging facilities will not be available at the event village or along the route, so make sure your battery is fully charged before you roll out.
If you get a flat tyre, move safely off the path or road, turn your bike upside down, and wait for a Ride Marshal. You can also call our mobile mechanic or Event Manager (details on your route map). Please bring a spare tube and basic tools just in case.
